Another New Morning...

Had a good rest in Bali and some good diving. Eventhough I did not get close to the Mola Mola, I actually saw it in the distance. I guess that is what happens in life - sometimes you get it and sometimes you just don't! Last week Gospel really spoke to me. It made me remember why everything is not always smooth and wonderful. If we are to call ourselves "Children of GOD", then we need to carry the cross that Christ carried. If we all remembered, carrying the cross was full of pain and suffering for HIM. Like my picture of the Bali sunrise? Reminds me of how beautiful the world is...

Be Not Afraid!...

I got the news that a good friend's dad passed on and some words from Chloe's favourite hymn came to my mind. "If you pass through raging waters in the sea, you shall not drown. If you walk amid the buring flames, you shall not be harmed. If you stand before the power of hell and death is by your side, know that I am with you through it all. Be not afraid. I go before you always. Come follow me, and I will give you rest." Somehow, these words describe how I felt at that point in time. :-)

Good News, Bad News

Just in case you cannot see what is in the picture - it is a parachute and I took this picture directly under it! Bad News: A good friend left the company on Thursday. Good News: He is going on to do community work with the Church. Bad News: An old friend from AC whom I have not spoken to for a long time passed away after prolong fighting with stomach cancer. Good News: I believe he is a man of GOD and so will be going onto a good place. A tough week for me even if I don't show it at work or at home.
